1. Acceptance of these terms
By visiting this website, joining the official Discord, applying for whitelist access, connecting to the AzimSMP Minecraft server, or taking part in an AzimSMP event, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to follow these Terms of Service and the community rules communicated by authorised staff.
If you do not agree, do not use the relevant services. These terms apply alongside event rules, Discord rules, announcements, and reasonable instructions issued by staff.
2. Eligibility
You are responsible for ensuring that you may use the services in your country, region, and household. If you are below the age required by Discord, Microsoft, Mojang, or applicable law, you must obtain any required permission from a parent or guardian before participating.
AzimSMP is not directed at children under 13 or below the applicable age of digital consent. Staff may decline or remove access where age, safety, or legal concerns cannot be resolved appropriately.
3. Accounts and applications
You must provide truthful information in a whitelist application and keep your Discord and Minecraft accounts secure. Do not impersonate another person, staff member, creator, or organisation.
You are responsible for activity carried out through accounts you control, including activity by anyone who gains access because you shared credentials or failed to secure the account. One person may not use alternate accounts to evade a restriction, manipulate an application, or conceal misconduct.
4. Community conduct
Members must communicate in good faith and treat players, staff, guests, and community partners with respect. Disagreement is allowed; targeted abuse is not.
- No harassment, threats, stalking, bullying, discrimination, or targeted hostility.
- No hate speech, slurs, extremist recruitment, or attacks on protected characteristics.
- No sexual harassment, unwanted explicit material, or sexual content involving minors.
- No doxxing, blackmail, sharing private information, or attempts to expose another person.
- No spam, scams, malicious links, impersonation, or manipulation of community members.
- No ban evasion, intimidation of reporters, or interference with moderation.
Staff may ask members to move a discussion, pause a conversation, or leave a channel when doing so protects the wider community.
5. Minecraft gameplay
Players must use a legitimate Minecraft account and an approved client. Cheats, combat automation, x-ray tools, unfair macros, exploits, duplication glitches, unauthorised modifications, and tools that provide an unfair advantage are prohibited unless staff have explicitly approved them.
Do not intentionally damage another player’s builds, steal items, create traps in bad faith, make lag machines, abuse server bugs, or interfere with server infrastructure. Accidental damage should be reported promptly and honestly.
Roleplay and player conflict are welcome only when participants understand the boundaries. Roleplay does not excuse harassment, targeted destruction, theft, or any other breach of these terms.
6. User content and builds
You remain responsible for anything you create, upload, share, or display through AzimSMP. This includes builds, screenshots, videos, usernames, messages, applications, suggestions, and event submissions.
You must have the necessary rights to share content and must not submit material that is illegal, infringing, deceptive, malicious, or intended to compromise another person’s privacy or security. Avoid posting addresses, phone numbers, school details, credentials, or identifying documents.
When you voluntarily submit content for an official showcase, event, or announcement, you allow the team to display that submission for community purposes. You may ask for removal where there is a reasonable privacy or safety concern.
7. Moderation and enforcement
Staff may warn, mute, restrict, remove, suspend, or permanently ban an account when they reasonably believe that a member has broken these terms, harmed the community, attempted to bypass a restriction, or created a material safety or operational risk.
Decisions may consider context, patterns of conduct, available evidence, impact on others, and whether the person was honest and cooperative. Staff are not required to reveal confidential reports, private evidence, or information that could expose another member.
Appeals should be submitted through the official route in Discord. They must be calm, specific, and made in good faith. Repeatedly reopening a resolved matter or pressuring involved users may prevent further review.
8. Privacy, cookies, and local storage
The website uses a local browser preference to remember whether you completed the cookie and Terms acknowledgement. It is not intended to identify you, sell information, or provide behavioural advertising. Clearing browser storage may cause the notice to appear again.
Discord, Minecraft, Microsoft, and other third-party services have their own terms and privacy practices. Do not send passwords, payment details, recovery codes, or unnecessary sensitive information to staff.
9. Availability and world data
AzimSMP may be unavailable for maintenance, updates, moderation, infrastructure failures, third-party outages, or events outside the team’s reasonable control. Features, channels, schedules, worlds, builds, and access arrangements may change.
We do not promise that every build, item, message, statistic, or piece of progress will always be preserved. The server is not a backup service. Keep independent copies of anything important to you.
10. Purchases, promotions, and rewards
Unless announced through an official channel, AzimSMP does not promise paid ranks, items, access, giveaways, or rewards. Never send money or credentials to somebody claiming to represent the server without confirming the announcement through the official Discord.
Future promotions may include additional eligibility rules, dates, limits, and fulfilment conditions. Fraudulent, automated, manipulated, or unsafe entries may be removed.
11. Third-party links and services
The website may link to Discord, Minecraft, Microsoft, social platforms, creator pages, or other destinations. AzimSMP does not control those services and is not responsible for their availability, security, content, or policies.
Use caution with downloads, direct messages, files, and login pages shared by users. When something appears suspicious, stop and contact staff through a known official channel.
12. Disclaimers and limitations
The services are provided on an as-available basis. To the fullest extent allowed by applicable law, AzimSMP and its volunteer staff are not responsible for indirect loss, lost progress, lost items, interrupted access, third-party outages, or disputes between members.
Nothing in these terms excludes a legal right or protection that cannot lawfully be excluded. These terms establish community expectations; they do not remove rights that apply under mandatory local law.
13. Changes to the service or terms
These terms may be revised when the community, server, or applicable requirements change. The latest version will be published here with an updated date. Material changes may also be announced in Discord.
Continued use after revised terms take effect means you accept the updated version. If you disagree, stop using the relevant services and leave the community.
